Preparation for the 2021 season is well underway, including work on the pitch (which is looking great) and some new signage on the nets.
We also have some new equipment arriving – a new mobile net for Springy and sightscreens for Thames. There is also a new scoreboard to go up on the clubhouse. Not to mention covers to be delivered next month…
We are hoping for some good news on COVID restrictions being lifted soon. Watch this space…
A nice bit of publicity for the club here as we were recognised by the ECB for our work during ECIC’s Cricket Tea-A-Thon last year. The club collected a huge 473kg from the generous residents of Rainham and the surrounding areas – thank you!

We are looking to recruit a scorer for the 2021 season.
The 1st XI have moved to the Essex Premier League structure and a club scorer is now a requirement.
Experience is not required as training will be provided – just an understanding of cricket is needed.
