Quiz Night – Saturday 20th May 2017

It’s the first Rainham CC social event on Saturday 20th May with a general knowledge Quiz night, hosted as ever by the brilliant 3rd XI strategist Brearley.

Jay Downton, Ben Hothi, Dal Lehal and a team of other bar boozers will be keen to defend their Quiz champions title from 2016, so make sure you bring along family and friends to take on the reigning Quiz champions. (I can hear you all thinking ‘that can’t be too difficult!’). Winners will receive a voucher to spend at the Rainham CC bar.

Also, don’t think by recruiting ‘Countdown Supremo’ Jono onto your team will give you some advantage, as he is shocking at Quizzes

Please arrive at the club house by 8pm for this ever popular social night.

Congratulations Indoor ‘A’ team

Well done to everyone that played for the A team and finishing top of the South Essex West Division 1. The top of the table slot was secured last night with a great team performance against Belhus winning by 4 wickets.

We will now progress to the South Board’s play-off final.  Our opponents will be the winners of the district board’s equivalent competition which is running at Westcliff.

Most likely, the play-off final will be staged at the Essex Indoor Centre at the Cloud FM County Ground, Chelmsford, on a Sunday evening in November.  Further details will be sent to our captain Jas Hothi, in due course.

A copy of the final table is attached.
